I have the classic hard shift after warming up and the tranny spews fluid. (98 v6 dohc AT)
After a lot of research, I am absolutely convinced that I need to change the torque converter and valve body. I read at some point a brand that I should choose for the valve body. But, I haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone know the preferred brand of valve body? My understanding is the valve body somehow damages the torque converter. If anyone can explain that, I would also be very grateful.
