Just curious what he meant by flex into place. I guess as long as they are aware of it when they are fixing it I trust they will ensure it is where it needs to be since this is the third time around for them. Bringing in the wrap around piece to make it press up against the bumper in front will help out on the sides, but I just wanted to make sure that they checked that fitment after the fix was made so that we don't have the same issue in the future. Thanks for the updates both Steve and Pete.
 
wow this is taking alot longer than everyone expected im sure but for good reasons. what were their carbon fiber issues? I had a mold of my mirko made by my buddys shop and making it for me in CF for $300...and hes having no issues ...thought id throw it out there incase i could be any help (probably not but whatever lol)

they got a bad batch of carbon fiber
 
Well, the first batch was a bit off in terms of fitment and shape, but they're making it right, and this time around they will be awesome. I can't wait to get my filthy little paws on mine!
 
How we doing on this Steve/Pete? Do we have any updates on the tweaks they said they could make and how it effected the fitment?
 
Yea what's the status with these my deposit has been in for a year now?? When is the final product going to be available I want to finish paying and get my lip.. I do realize ED has a lot going on but a year to develop a lip is a little lengthy.. Either way I am glad you guys started this gb and can't wait to get mine..
 
Im getting the itch as the good weather is around the corner. But remember, although you paid a YEAR ago. QUALITY is remembered WAY AFTER price is forgotten....... Im sure we will get an update as soon as we should.

Well I'm guessing they got things figured out with one of the splitters... then they had to send it back over seas.. hopefully not by boat because that is like 6 weeks. Then they have to update/fix the mold for the splitter. Then they have to build the splitters per the orders... and ship the parts back via boat, another 6 weeks. So yea it could be a while. However it would be nice to know where they are in that process.
 
Alright Steve/Pete an update would be nice. It's been over a month since the last update post on the topic...
 
^^^ +1 My deposit has been in for a long time over a year lol we are wanting our lips.. "Bangs hands on table" uuuupdate uuuupdate uuuuupdate lol...
 
Hey guy's I apologize for not coming here to give you an update. This year for me so far has been CRAZY with all my Vette parts. I have not forgot about you guy's though. Just sometimes I get so busy that I forget to come here and post. As you guy's know they were test fitted and they were going to fix them as per our request, or I should say Steve's as he's the one that told them what needed to be done. They are supposed to be working on them and yes unfortunately they do go by boat both ways :( I did again ask that there be a priority on these as this has taken WAY too long, this and a hood that I have made for the C5 and C6 (similar in design) have been a huge PITA as far as getting right, just our luck I guess. They are working on it and I will call later this week again and try to get another update. Thanks again guys for your patience, it is much appreciated.
