Greetings From The UK - My New Mondeo

Just bought myself a new mondeo, know mark on here (worldtour), so thought id put up a few pictures. its not majorly modified, but i few plans for it. the spec is the highest you can get in the uk, we call it a ghia x over here, standard spec is full heated and electric leather interior, crusie control, ac, electric sunroof, just to name a few. mods currently are full ST200 bodykit, twin stainless steel exhaust, induction kit, and black aftermarket wheels, thought id try the black on black theme. ive order some lowering springs to bring the hight down, and plan on fitting twin headlights. its a 2.5 V6.

Too blacked out for my taste..would look good with a red lip on the rims imo.

Nice ride however, it looks clean and modded well.

The old wheels are the stock wheels, they are 16" with 205/55/16 tyres. the black rims are 17" with 205/40/17 tyres, so the black rims are an inch bigger than the stock rims, but the tyres have a lot smaller side wall.

I think that makes the over all diameter smaller I dont have my tire size chart hand though
 
Looks good Craig!

The tires are a bit short, 215/45-17 is more commonly considered to be the correct size (same as SVT Focus here & ST170 there)

All in all I like it, now just get rid of that wheel gap! :)

Cheers mark. the tyres are very low profile mate, but it doesnt half handle with them on, no tyre roll at all, plenty of grip, even with the traction control switched off. it will be lowered by the new year, ive ordered my springs, depending when they arrive (with it being the christmas period, who knows when that will be), fingers crossed i will fit them between christmas and new year, if not very early in the new year.
 
How do I get a pair of the headlight u are gonna get ? The ones with 4 single lamps and will they fit a contour Svt ?

Search Morettes, but the answer is no. Mondeo headlights may look similar, but they are actually quite different.

Hello stranger, how you doing ?


Compared to the MK3 bob, not a lot off difference driving wise, i would say the steering is slightly better on the MK3, more direct. i expected it to feel old compared to the MK3 though bob, but it honestly doesnt. its deffinatly quicker though, maybe thats because it lighter and has a stainless, but it would eat my MK3 for breakfast.
 
Hi Craig, i am on Mondeo Owners now mate - helping the guys on there.

Still got my car and it is tucked up in the garage just now. LOL
