Got myself a SVT this past weekend. E1 with 122K miles on it for $2000. A little beat up, but nothing I can't fix. It runs great right now besides having a cell. Going to go get that pulled and see what it is. will post pics after I have it cleaned up and call SVT for a build number. Oh yeah, also it has an aftermarket "vacum" gauge on it. No idea what it is for and the previous owner didn't know either, he bought it like that. Also there is a little black button on the drivers side of the center consol, right below the shifter for the most part. Could both of these have been used for nitrous?

Like I said, a little work needs to be done, but nothing too hard. A little figerglass here and there for the bumper and sideskirt and I should be good. The first owner put a trailer hitch on it...doh!

looks good..bring it to the next csvt meet in minnesota we are going to have. If you figure out a way to find your build number let me know how you did it. The 1-800-ford-svt number doesn't exist anymore and i've asked around at about 3 dealer ships (including apple valley ford, an svt dealer) and no one knows how i can get my build number.

Worked fine for me just now. Granted, at 10:30 pm no one is going to answer. Well, their answering machine just did. Are you sure you dialed the number correctly? 800-367-3788

just called the 800 number today and got my build #

Yea I was going to say that I've heard both that it did and didn't work...but it worked for me as well. They just seemed unwilling to give me mine though. They were all PO'd when I asked for it.

there are some little things wrong with it, like I said. So that is why it was a little cheaper. Strut mount needs to be fixed, an exhaust leak (just needs new gasket after the cat), check engine light was on (had that cleared and drove 60 miles and it hasn't come back....yet), needs the bumper work, dent in the drivers door, needs the sideskirt fixed....etc. Interior is in really good shape though. I cleaned the interior yesterday, but then it started to rain so i didn't get any pics. When i brought it to the shop I always go to, they seemed to like it. We don't have a lot of SVT's around here of anytype, so they were asking some questions about it.

Congrats on the SVT. :) Looks good for the price and like you said, it's nothing you can't fix.

Maybe the guy was just having a bad day. Normally, they are pretty friendly.

#4892. to the registry I go. Ok, build number suggests it is an E1 and so do the rims. but it has the clock in the dash and the door guards are slightly off from the 24valve high output badge.....and I thought both of those were signs of an E0. hmmm.
