got the glass pack on...

Well this weekend i finally gave in with the cold weather and chopped off the resonator and put on my thrush glass pack. I noticed a difference in power, but she still sounds the same.

in the video, i only wound it up to about 3k cuz i was in my neighborhood.

idk, its weird, i noticed it pulls a little harder, but my girlfriend got in the car and didnt even notice i did anything to the car, noise wise, but when i was gettin on the gas she noticed it was quicker too... i'm thinkin of chopping the muffler and running a straight pipe out the back next...

well with just the glasspack on behind the cat the car sounded half decent, so i think if i were to run either a straight pipe out or get a smaller 13 inch glass pack, i could hang that in the spot of the stock muffler.



and by sound nasty, is that in a good way or a bad way?

Heres another honest opinion. DONT cut your f'in muffler off!! I cant figure out why anyone would want to do this, at least put a large ricer muffler on like the cavis and hondas.

i'm just stating facts and feeling from hearing plenty of zetecs with altered exhaust. the last on i heard, all mandrel bent, magnaflow muffler and some other parts, sounded horrible. but once he buys my resonator it should improve greatly.


your best bet is to just save up and buy nice high quality parts or it will sound crappy.
