Got some new wheels

Ok I've had the blue one in the car so only one is new.

Wanted to upgrade my interior a little, so I purchased a cougar wheel. Along with some cougar covers for the steering column, to help match the interior.

I've had one laying around for a long time, for my silver frost, but never got around to getting it done. Mostly because its a pile o crap. Still sitting in the shed after all this time.

Wow nice guy. Glad I bought a pre98 shift boot after I made the sale so you wouldn't have a hard time finding one. And Fed Ex is the cheapest shipper anywhere FWIW.
 
Come on dude, if I gave you that money these items would be over priced. And I never would have agreed to it in the first place. I was comfortable at the price we agreed at, but not for an additional $35, 1 to 1 1/2 months after sale.
 
looks silly w/the blue airbag cover. paint it satin or semi gloss black,or use a cougar airbag and have pc make you a domed overlay for the cougar.

No. It took 4 weeks mainly because I couldn't find a box to ship the console. I usually never take that long. UPS quoted me more so I went to Fed Ex. Guess I'll leave me opinion in the Feedback Section. Never had a CEGer deny sending extra $ when shipping was quite a bit more than expected. Guess I won't do business with CEGers out West again nor you.

Why did you even ship it then Todd? Did you ship it first, then ask for shipping payment or what? If he didn't want to pay shipping, simply refund the check and sell it to someone else along with a more informed shipment payment information.
 
Because I figured it wasn't a big deal. Never ever had an issue with a CEG sending extra to help cover shipping. I'm not even asking him for much. I paid $60 to ship these goods! I'm only asking for $35 to help cover. Is that really that big of a deal? :help:

Is it really still that blue? I gave it a spray with black paint and it looks black to me. But then again I am color blind so your a better judge then I.

FWIW I've sent numerous PMs and he will not respond. The only reason I posted here. Not my fault. I have no place to voice opinion. The old transaction feed back is closed. Any news on where I can post my opinion?
 
Thanks buddy. I thought that was a given but I forget most here haven't been here well forever. I normally let stuff slide but I'm not employed. Have to watch every dollar. $60 to ship some Contour parts hurts. I couldn't even tell you the number of parts I've sold on here. Hundreds. Never ever had I had an issue with anyone.

Ugh, I didn't reply to one PM, one. And that's because I wanted to receive the items before I gave out more money.
 
when i met Todd for some wheels and tires he was selling me, i gave him money for gas to meet me half way. so i don't really see a difference with paying him more for shipping.
 
The main thing is that I've never ever been asked or have asked for more money after sale. So I was taken aback and didn't respond to his PM. I didn't mean to piss Trodas off but it did. I've taken my share of large losses on shipping as well but never asked for more. My stance is when a deal is closed that it done. But if hes on hard times like he says he is I can help a brother out.
 
If I could make an on-topic comment...

the wheel looks good! I've always wanted the FSVT wheel... but I never even thought about one from a Cougar, even though I used to have a Cougar.
