I originally bought the car for 400.00. The idea was to have the car stay in Cali and part it out there. The person who was going to part the car out found himself too busy to work on the car because he was working 70+hrs a week. The car cost me 1000.00 to be transported to me. After I sell everything I will still make 1500.00 profit. I do my homework fellas.

So you're gonna recoup $2900 in sales from parts of this car? Are you on drugs?

Whoa. I'm just saying that seems like a pipe dream in this day and age. I've seen full running SVT's sell for less than that. Good luck with everything. I just don't want to see you do all this work and then come up short of what you've got into it...

I feel you and I appreciate your concern... Ive done some hw on sought after parts and Ive also tried to look at other not so sought after parts and I came up with a number. Obviously those numbers are theory numbers as in reality if I auction a part it may sell above or below what my theory number initially was.

This isnt the first time Ive parted out an SVT and unfortunately I know now isnt the best time to part one out either. But what would you do if you didnt have a job at the moment and had nothing else to do but to try and make as much money as you can? Feel me?

The original plan wasnt for me to bring the car here to FL. I never wanted to see this car at all. But things happen and I know I took a loss for having it transported here to my warehouse but what else should I do forget about it and let it rot?

In business it is said that stagnant inventory is money lost because the more inventory you have that doesnt move crowding up your warehouse the less room you have for things that actually sell quicker. Thus why have an SVT parts car sitting on the side of someones house not doing anything and me losing money invested when I can bring it here and get rid of the car in a week and move on to the next thing that will move quicker.

Done:cool:

I forget, what was the story behind this car as to why it was being parted and not brought back to life?

Dont remember what it hit but it had a huge gash in the hood and engine. Look at the last pic, the top beam on the frame, see how it is bent downward? Im not saying that cant be fixed but it had seen better days.

Ah yes, that's right. I remember seeing the pictures just after it happened. Shame to see it parted. Oh well, I guess as the saying goes, one must die so hopefully several others can live.
