Got a spec stage 1 clutch, any how to's?

You've got to ask yourself why you purchased this particular clutch. A stock SVT clutch would have been more than enough. If you just wanted a Spec clutch so you can say you have one, then fine, you've got it and you get to live with it, for better or for worse. You make your choices and you take your chances. That's life.

I bought the spec clutch because I needed a clutch ASAP so I can get to work, and it was the only one I could find around me. I thought I was buying a quality brand. I will soon find out, as the we have started ripping the car apart at my dads shop. I drove the car with the clutch slipping badly, until it wouldn't engage anymore, so i'm pretty sure the flywheel will need to be resurfaced.

the flywheel needs to have both surfaces machined, then.. however much you take down on one, take an equal amount down on the other so as to maintain the same height.

I finished installing the new clutch, and put everything back together, now I have problems. The clutch makes a clanking sound when the car is idling, when I push in the clutch pedal, it stops making the noise. When I take off in first gear, the car jumps a bit, the shift into 2nd is smooth, 3rd is grinding (which it didn't do before) 4th and 5th seem fine. The car is making a horrible grinding noise while I am driving (this settles into the clanking when I stop) I have bled the clutch, and this helped a bit. The car feels terrible now. Any ideas?
