got a few issues i need resolved before i get the car inspected

for cleaning the egr its those little grove like tunnels just inside the tb on the uim correct? as for the mils, nautilus directions says to do cut into the factory side of the 02 sensor plugs. does it really matter where i cut into?

No, I believe he meant "EGR" instead of "ERG" and what he means by suck test is you remove the vacuum line from the EGR valve, put a short length of hose there in its place and literally suck it with your mouth while the car is idling to open the valve. If the idle drops and sputters, the valve is not obstructed and working properly. It is basically just a shadetree way of manually bypassing the EVR solenoid.

ok. i tried the suck test and it did nothing. the car idled normal and i did it for about five minutes. does that mean it needs to be cleaned or replaced? also if it needs to be cleaned isnt it just the grooves inside the throttle body thats on the uim??? also i was readin about cleanin the motor and found a how to on using liquid b12 in a jug and running it through the motor. has anyone done this and can you explain to me how to do it cause im not sure what vacuum lines the how to means to plug the hose into. i want to clean this thing out replace the oil and plugs after and hopefully it will run better and i can get it inspected cause its overdue by a month.

here is the how to i speak of: http://www.contour.org/mods/mods.php?s=howto&displayid=43

okay i think i answer my question. the vacuum line it talks about, is it the two black things on top of the uim that normally break the lil washer thing on the inside of the uim when you take it all apart(did it when i cleaned everything before when i took it all apart).
