So, I went out to dinner with the family and some of our old neighbors a couple of weeks ago. One of our old neighbors is a retired Ford employee, well we got to talking and he said he had a surprise for me at the house. I stopped by, and picked up this.....
Pretty cool, I havent seen one before and from what he told me they handed this out to all the ford workers when the 2.5 duratec was introduced. He said he thought about throwing it away for a couple years now and held onto it for some reason. I also got to take a look in his garage, his sunday cruiser is a 98 SVT Cobra drop top with only 28,000 miles in showroom condition, not bad for someone 75+. HAHAHaHA he even told me he likes to take it out and spin the tires a little bit!
Anyways I thought it was pretty cool, and even cooler he let me have the hat....only after listening to 3 hours worth of stories about the old neighborhood and his grandkids, oh well it was worth it!!!!
