Good transmission shops in upstate NY?

Hey guys,
It's time for me to replace the transmission in my 3L...you know the drill. Anyways, can someone recommend a shop to remove and replace my transmission with one from Terry Haines?

BTW, I am in Clinton, NY but I'm willing to drive a bit for good service.

I'd be up for it, but I don't have a garage to do it in, and I don't really have any time off from work/school until a couple of months from now . I suppose I could just take over a section of my college's parking lot though....

Also, what is a good price for just the removal and installation of a transmission?

You could try Rowland Street Garage, near Saratoga Springs. It may be listed in either Saratoga Springs, Ballston Spa, or Milton. They have an extremely good reputation, and an excellent warranty on their work. If you're where I think you are, it's less than a 3 hour drive. I went to college in Potsdam and it was 3 hours going through Saranac Lake.
