Once the SVT is sold I will be waving farewell to CEG, no money to fix it, its been a slice guys.

Yup, unless a miracle happens in the next few days, finito! Once you get a bad taste in your mouth, its hard to forget.
 
yep the wiring harness issue sucks bad but. its just a matter of labor to reinstall i know the motor runs because ive had it started and running. i thought your buddy was gonna throw the new harness on keith?

Yeah, I saw the car in the classifieds but it doesn't look that bad. Keith has all the parts (minus the harness) to put it back together.

I was just wondering what the bad taste was.

Just fix the car and drive it. I know it's frustrating but once it's done, it will be worth it. What ever else you go buy is only going to cost you more money. Work with what you got, unless you have tons of cash burning a hole in your pocket.
 
I do have the harness, a buddy of mine was suppose to set aside some time and do it right away as I have been without a vehicle for almost two months now, its now getting ridiculous as my job entails me getting around.

Just as soon as I got the car home, the dude that was going to do it for me is all of a sudden busy and has no time for my car, F**kin douche. Im kinda tired and broke, I love the car, but you can only stretch that dollar so far, no what Im sayin. If anyone out there close by want to come over and have a go at it, then by all mean, giver.
 
That would be great, Im not gonna lie, I know nothing about motors, Im a body guy, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Keith

that would be awsome if you helped him out bill, i keep trying to tell him DONT SELL THE CAR because of the harness. come get the green car to get you by keith:shrug:
 
Ya it wouldnt be a problem if he wanted me to help, as long as Aaron is game too. Keith is suppling the mojitos though.
 
Smirnoff Mojito Mix and a pint of Smirnoff on the side to add later to it....half gallon please its about 20 bucks, now try to get Aaron to be game too. How far are you from him? Im probably coming up there the 3-5th of July, due to it being a long weekend for me, which doesnt happen often as a hospital never closes.
 
Hey man,
Im about 15 minutes from Aaron and I am located in a pretty little swanky part of Hamilton where all the bars are, like stumbling distance, Aaron with tell ya its a good time around my place.

As for him being game, of course he'll be in, he's always game for drinks. Him, Wes and Jackie where over here on saturday night havin some Gin tonics and beers. I'll talk to him to see what he says but he knows how I fell about my car. Im sure he'll be all good with it, as well as Wes and Jackie. Maybe I can get some of the Cougar guys over to, we had a small meet with them awhile back and everyone was cool, as well as some other local CEG'ers.

Thanks again Bill, and as for the drinks, 20 bucks? Man, Im talkin 60oz'ers, thats like 60.00 bucks. I'll take care of ya.
 
LOL sounds good to me. My GF MIGHTTT be coming too, she has a Cougar that we will most likely bring as I hate driving the svt on trips due to it always breaking.....
