The tires on my wife's '95 SE are embarrasingly bald, which is not good in NW MN in December. I'd like to replace then with an all season tire that is good in ice and snow. I'm not looking for dry road performance here, but I'd like to keep the same tires on year round, so I don't really want to buy snow tires unless I have to. I do have an extra set of wheels, but I don't really want to buy a new set of summer tires in the spring.
I know winter tires would be best, but has anybody found a decent, inexpensive all-season tire that works respectively in the snow and ice? Tire size is 205/60/15.
