Meh.... I don't think too many people would disagree with me there... this isn't exhaust theory.

I guess that exhaust discussion will always be embedded in relation to each other. Fair enough....I was just tossing the popcorn theme at you after you threw it at me .

I do agree that a larger gap will net you a slight increase. But nothing that noticeable since you do get % error between runs. Which is everyones main argument when they challenge gapped plugs.

Yeah, that association won't be going anywhere. And the rockers won my poll so it's gonna be a minute before I do the headers... which will hopefully settle some of our exhaust-related disagreement.

Fair enough... a "noticeable gain" is certainly subjective. Though I do have this...

It's funny you gained 5.2whp from a gap lol. If anything people can't gain that much off a knn filter

I drove my car around the other day only having headers on.:blackeye:

Yeah i'm gonna have to say after 4 days of driving.....i had no low end power what so ever. It was a doggggg. That thing had ti be floored to go anywhere.

The car only moved when it hit 5k rpms, by then it was soo loud it drove me nuttts. Overall i noticed no gain what so ever and the tq lose was def noticeable. And there is no way i made more hp.:blackeye:

Then i tighten the bolts back up and it was soo nice hearing a quite car again

I can imagine. Hell, I'm really not looking forward to the open-header dyno run I'm going to do with the SHM's... let alone actually driving around town with it that way. :help:
