FYI - Koni's 25% off

Just an FYI if anyone's interested.

I contacted them about getting my Koni's rebuilt. I'd alwasy heard that they were rebuildable, but never heard a cost associated with that rebuild. Here's what I got for a response:

"Frank,
Are the shocks factory KONI sport yellows off the shelf? Or have they been reworked/revalved in the past? If the shocks are standard KONI sports it would be cheaper to purchase a new replacement set as compared to rebuild. Especially right now as KONI is running 25% off Shock Value sale."

Interesting. I have a blown-out set of Konis sitting in my garage; I've never thrown them out on the odd chance that someday I might have them re-valved. That kind of sucks that it's still cheaper to buy a whole new set!

EDIT - just checked the site, and they are $342 a pair right now, direct from Koni. Not bad - all four for $684...
 
these are in stock tho? i was stuck waiting last year, nobody could get them because they all drop ship from koni and they werent making any.
 
shox.com has them for 851.20, but they are also running the KONI 25% so it would be $638.40 at checkout. Didn't bother registering to see what the shipping would be though.
 
im not in need but i planned on getting them last time around w the struts. consensus is yes its worth the 100+ in savings to order now?

I've used both BAT struts and Koni's...and Koni's (to me) are much better in controlling the car. BAT struts don'e feel like they have enough rebound control to me...
 
i had them both too. more body roll is what you're describing i think. i agree, i loved the konis.

nopi did have the best price a while back, is everyone offering this 25% off? is koni themselves trying to move some inventory?
