Okay, so yesterday driving home i noticed that when i start to speed up, there is something rubbing against my tire. Well, i parked it for the night (it being 11 at night). So today i pull it around to the garage, take off both sides of tires (didn't really know which side it was). The break's didn't look too bad, but i changed them anyways. But the problem still persists. Its just a rubbing noise, and gets worse as i speed up.

Anyone have this problem/know what im even talking about?

Please help if can.

Right where the breaks sit on the rotor, the bottom piece, it is rubbing against the rotor.

Anyway to fix this?

right where the white boxes are.

Do the o'clock test. It could be the wheel bearings. Does the sound go away when you turn left (or right)?

O'clocktest

Jack up the car one side. Place on jack stand.

Grasp wheel at 12 and 6 o'clock and push in and out. Any movement, most probably suspect wheel bearing.

9 and 3 o'clock - tie-rod/ball joint.

Lower the car and do the same for the other side.

We just confirmed it is.

How much would this cost to fix, via mechanic? Rough estimate.
