yes they can be swapped. just go to the junk yard and get one. however I would try to repair the one you have. there is a chance that the plastic cord/teeth in the antenna snapped in half or broke, which would allow the antenna to only go up half way and possible keep running. got a new mast from ebay and was good to go.
