For those of you who don't remember me, I used to have a CSVT from '04 up until last year. I still lurk around here because I like the CEG and I still miss my car. It was time to move on so I sold the SVT and drove around a POS Grand Cherokee for the past year.

Now I finally saved up enough money to buy what I really wanted, a '99 Corvette Hardtop. Got a pretty good deal too. Still trying to find a shipping company but hopefully I can get it here before July 4th. Hopefully the dark side treats me well. I've had a Ford, Mopar, and GM now.

And who paid for that?
You mad? Don't you worry about that, read the 2nd paragraph.

Seriously though, my granddad helped me out. He said whenever I was ready, he'd see what he could do. I've saved up some money over the past 4 years through liquidation of some assets. ;)

Jared my mom didnt pay for it, she paid for your sexual reassignment surgery though:laugh::laugh:

No I aint mad Justin, it was a joke. Thats cool you have been saving all these years in College, I know that couldnt have been easy not to spend the money and party.

I know I'm just messing with ya. I know what you'e saying about the parties. Alcohol, clothes, and serious girlfriends can be added into that too.

I heard you showed up at Vengeance one day. My uncle got some work done by them a few weeks ago.

Yeah I went for a trailblazer meet, I was gonna bring my wifes tb but she had to work, so I brought the 3l turbo and dyno'd it. It gained alot of respect from die hard chevy guys, they underestimated a 4 door ford:laugh:Not after the dyno they didnt.

Hey Justin, it's Matt from the Atlanta SVTOA (now defunct), we met at the Team Ford car show a while back. Nice ride!

I picked up a 5.0 Mustang a while back, maybe we can set up a showdown at Commerce? Ok, maybe that'd be bad for me. :o:help:

Needs more leaf spring and pushrods...

A Corvette, preferably a Z06 would be my next car in a perfect world. With the prices the C5s are selling for though, the world is looking pretty good. Right now I drive my Contour year round as the DD, and have my ZX3 as a summer only car, the C5 would probably get similar mileage, actually be fast, and be a Corvette.

Have fun with it!

Thanks. Get that 5.0 some nitrous and you could probably take the C5 down.

Got a decent deal on it. Now I'm just waiting for him to get his stuff together so I can get it shipped to Atlanta.

I would go get it yourself, shipping companies can be NIGHTMARES trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw what happened to your ride. :blackeye:

I've had some pretty good experiences with them though. My family has had cars from Miami, Arizona, and Texas with no incidents. Besides, the tires are pretty much toast and I don't have time to drive from Arizona to Georgia. Wish I could though...

As long as you have GOOD TRUSTWORTHY company then you are good.

That's a good point, I had waited almost 3weeks with no call no nothing, when I would call they just kept telling me another 7-10days, needless to say I flew and picked up my 3L and drovevit 800miles home!

Nice car have fun with it!

I thought the Viper was considered the "Dark Side"...
Well I consider Chevy the dark side since I started with Fords. Mopar is the weird side.

Fortunately, my uncle is letting me "borrow" his Z06 wheels and exhaust so I can get rid of the chrome wheels and ugly pipes.
