ok guys quick question. one of my freiends have an extreme dimensions front bumper on his 99 se and he is willing to sell it to me for 30$. i have a 95. is there anyway it will bolt right up?. when i went to andysautosport for both the 98 and up and the pre 98 extremedimensions bodykit the pic shows a pre 98.. thanks

It's not going to bolt right up by a long shot. You'll either need to mold it to your bumper (cut each in half horizontally, and attach the top half of your bumper to the bottom half of the E.D. bumper) or you'll have to change the entire front end of your car: grill, headlights, hood, fenders. If you have a 98+ parts car lying around, it's easily doable. If not, well...you're screwed.

It won't bolt on directly. You will have to mold it on, like IRingTwyce said. But for 30 bucks, I'd mold it on. As long as you have the time, money, tools, and patients your set. A few other CEGer's have done this with the SVT bumper molded to the pre-98, they turned out very nice. I'd look around here as well as the old forums for info about the molding process.

If you have experience in body repair, this might be a weekend project. If not, I'd say it will take about a week to complete with the proper tools, maybe more, maybe less.

if your going to mold a bumper, you might as well mold a bumper that looks half way decent IMHO.

thanks for the help. yeah im a little iffy on the molding part. as for the front end swap.. Would that be all i needed was the hood, fenders grill and headlights.. cause i think i read somewhere before that you had to swap out the radiator core support and all that good stuff.

I'm not sure if you would need the Headlight/Grill Mounting panel for a pre-98 or not. I can't remember if there is a difference between the pre and post 98 mounting panel. If there isn't, then all you would need is the stuff mentioned above.

Take both bumpers off and check for yourself. Like above it probably wont fit. Look at it and see how much work its going to be. The area around the head lights is different. There are little corner pieces that fit near the headlights on the 98+, I think if you cut those off it might fit with little molding.
