Extra part from oval grill mod (what is this?)

After finishing up my mesh mod, and putting everything back together, i found this piece in the house. I remember it was behind the original oval grill mesh when I removed it (which I sent to Stazzi) and now - I have NFC where it is supposed to go back there... anyone? :shrug: :help:

If you can read the part code, plug it in www.teamfordparts.com and it will tell you what the part is (and how much it costs to get it).

That's the battery tie down. If it was behind your oval, then it was in the wrong place.

Def the battery tie down. It must have been removed and fallen behind your grille somehow. :shrug:

+2 on the Battery tie down, even mine doesnt look like that. I have a plastic extending one holding down my optima redtop:shrug: !

I did a search on the www.teamfordparts.com website w/ the part number, and came up w/ nothing.
So I googled the part # and found a chinese parts website that shows it was the battery tie down.

Why it was behind the grill... I have no idea. :nonono:
