well then, i stand corrected, however if i were baller enough i'd have the engine and chassis dyno ready to roll.
glad the numbers haven't changed haha
yea, if the MTX on an svt is that much i couldn't see an atx being less than like 23%
granted with lighter flywheel, clutch, axles, etc. might bring the numbers down a little. granted most people that would do that don't have an engine and chassis dyno ready to test on haha
yea, butt dyno's are rarely accurate unless it's a somewhat significant mod. some people are just retarded like, "i just change my air filter and now the car pulls so much harder and has way more top end" these are the people i want to smack, hard.
Im running a turbo muffler with no resonator and its not too loud. The muffler is in the resonators place with straight pipe in the muffler place.
I say go for it. Dont bother with a resonator.
I was hoping someone had a turbo muffler. Could you post up a sound clip??:help:
you can do whats called a "Negative Horsepower" run. the graph will display power transmitted to the wheels and parasitic loss.well then, i stand corrected, however if i were baller enough i'd have the engine and chassis dyno ready to roll.
I'd say i gained about 55 hp at the wheels.
You'll probly only get around 5 or 6.
i wish i had a stock dyno plot so i could compare stock numbers to my modified ones. i would say, if your keeping the stock cat, then probably between 5 and 10 HP. an intake should gain you about the same or a little better.Meh. I'll prolly get 2-3 mpg. That's my main goal:shrug:
Thanks!

i didnt notice any MPG increase but i suspect its cause i drove the piss out of it.![]()
ive honestly never looked into replacement CATs cause i live in a state where emissions dont matter.I can't do that. I hate the smell of burnt ATF, and the look of a transmission sitting on the ground:laugh: .
Any wothwhile yet cheap hi-flow cats out there?

Try these kamikaze ones. Might be a little pricier, but that's what i'll go with once i get the cougar header on there.
