engine mount ?

i know i am on allowed to post about needing parts, only if classified, but i cant post yet in classified. okay my engine mount is brooken, i went to the dealership and they dont make it anymore for the Csvt, and the ppl there said that, a regular contour engine mount will not work, since there is a diffrence.. soo if anyone is parting out there CSVT let me know ASAP!!!

are u sure, since the guy who works there said that they wouldnt work. because if they work then im just going to hit up a junk yard and get one from there
 
All of the V6 motor mounts are the same. The exception being the mount for the transmission (drivers side by the intake) in which the Automatic cars have a different mount than the manual cars.

However, if the mount that broke is the one that fits down between the heads, then there is a difference in the later years. The later years had a smaller 8mm bolts that bolted into the motor itself.

More than likely you have broken the mount that mounts to the inner fender. So if that is the case, then it is all the same.

Make sure you suport the motor with a floor jack. And I would use a piece of 2x6 so that the oil pan doesn't rest directly on the jack.
 
Seconding the wood between the jack and the oil pan. Cracking the oil pan when you could have avoided it really sucks.
 
yeah that would suck, u have an t-green Csvt, nice.. so do i. i want to paint my headlights and i dont know how it would look like or if it would look nice.. what do u think? or are there any pics of green Csvt with there headlights painted ..
 
both.. the eye lids and the indside or it. but not the part where is reflects the lighing of the headlight.

you do know you can pm people if you see what you need listed in the classifieds .... please don't post classified ads when you know your not allowed. you can also post in your regional forum local classifieds if there is one available to use.
