Hard to say. I wouldn't think it would matter if they are pretty new. You never know.

I have having the same issues here, but it only happens when I get below like 1/2 tank of gas. The lower it gets, the worse it gets. Full tank = No problem.

I am thinking fuel pump....

Correct.

Try changing the fuel filter first to see if it helps. And if you do change the fuel pump, make sure the screen inside the tank is removed and disposed of. That is usually the cause of fuel pumps breaking down prematurely.
