well im in the process of pulling the engine and tranny so that of corse the spec stage three clutch can go in..but the rear two blots are spining and im stuck now i had this happen to me on a civic and i cut a square opening and tacked the nut back in place and rewelded the cutout back in and then i put a plate for more support over the section for more support and it worked great i was wondering if any body know if theres an easier way to fix this or any advice below is a pic of how i was gona cut the opening in red and then the plate that im gona weld over that opening in blue

two options

cut an openning and use a wrench to hold the nut, 24 mm iirc. then you can leave it that way or try closing it back up.

if you pull back the carpet there are two access panels in the floor that can be used to reach the rear sub frame bolt.

pulling the carpet back thats an awsome idea i think thats what ill do.. do i need to remove the seats to do that or just pull it back and is that access panel have one of those rubber gromet thingy to plug it?? sounds stupid to ask but im just trying to get an idea of what im gona encounter.

not sure on the seats but I believe taking them out would make it easier. the access pannel has thin metal bars over it from what I understand. there could be some sound deadening material over it too.

You shouldn't need to remove the seats, just slide the seats all the way back and you will have clearance, pull the carpet and expose the sound dampening material and your good to go once you cut through.

How To

How To

1. Pry up passenger door sill trim.
2. Remove panel in passenger foot well that extends from center console.
3. Peel back carpet.

4. Remove PCM. One bolt is inside cabin; the other is under power steering reservoir.
5. Remove lock washer on foam in foot well. Pry foam back.

great, no one has posted pictures like that before, or not that I recall anyway. btw I don't think it will get posted right away as it will need to be moderated first.
