just thought i would post a pic of my engine and car and see if anyone had any suggestions or comments about what i should do......remember its all stock

lots of suggestions...paint the grill body color,defog the headlights,lower it,i always thought svt e0 rim's look good on pre98's:shrug: ...maybe stock svt air box or a ebay intake. or if your on a budget,just the maf adaptor and filter. other than that its clean and looks good. if i could do my old pre98 all over,i'd skip all the svt bolt on's and just do full svt or 3l engine. i spent on the upper intake and throttle body what you could get a 3l for:blackeye: (this was like 4-5 years ago when the parts were still wanted)
 
thats what the car looked like when i bought it.....dont have any current pics....its been wrecked twice in 6 months (not my fault) i blame it on the f250 that doesnt have good brakes and the scion that didnt move out of the way when i couldnt stop

i cant afford a new car....im only 18 and im in college......car is still driveable tho.....i bought a new trunk lid and bumper from a junkyard for 40 bucks and im gonna pull the rear out at school....... ill post pics later this week when i get it pulled

In that condition, I wouldn't spend a cent on the engine bay. :blackeye: Is that purple spray paint all over the car?

That rear end doesn't even look repairable.

im going to school for collision repair....i had better get a good grade....i sacrificed my car.....if anything i can get an education while repairing my car for FREE!!!

Umm...that isn't fixable...What did your insurance company say about this :confused:. Just get another Contique, man. They're cheap, like $1000 cheap...Sell yours for parts.

the broom handle holds the hood up higher so i can get better access....i ran out of ductape holding the front headlights and turn signals in....if anyone would like to donate ductape to the cause i'll be willing to accept!!

i did the estimate at school and the car is 586% totaled according to the computer if every little dent and ding gets fixed....and thats without pulling the ass out on a frame machine
 
to those that said it couldnt be done....its not completely done but its a helluva lot straighter than it was and its all one color(color was free)....gonna get some silver paint and fix the rest of the body damage then im gonna spray it

yeah its dirty but im not really gonna worry about washing it until i get the dents fixed.....then after the painting....WASHED WEEKLY!!
 
i would personally rather keep it...it would be fun to watch it tumble to its demise tho....especially considering all the trouble i've had with it...im wanting someone to rearend me again so i can claim insurance because the first time it was hit and run, so this tim just a little hit and it'll be totaled and i can claim it, get money and keep driving the car while im searching for an SVT.....that'll be garaged tho
