are the msds shorty will fit a single exhaust. i only have a single exhaust. and how is it to install. I am quiet handy i just never did headers?

They are all single exhaust, thats why there is a y pipe:nonono:, they just split into to "dual" exhaust at the back

Get lots and lots and lots of liquid wrench before you start this job. New studs would be a good idea as well. Spray the bolts down the night before you start, then again before you start, and keep spraying while you are working. Soak those mutha's like no tomorrow.

And dont expect it to be a one day thing.

Easiest to remove the radiator for the front, and use a lot of extentions and swivels for the rear.

It will bolt right on but its a very very tight space on both sides.

yeah. and there is alot of stuff in the way of the headers. so i am assuming I'm going to have to take some stuff out. to get to the header?

why is the msds headers have two of them not one? like there is two ends to connect to the catayts

one header per bank and then a y-pipe to connect them together ... is that what you are getting at

Yeah sorry about all this i am trying to get info on this before i buy it and i thought it would be better to discuss it on here wit ppl who know about it. but lets see if i get it. There are two sets of headers and they then go into a y pipe that then goes into the catalyic convert?

Do yourself a favor and slide under the car to see what you're dealing with. You'll have a header coming off the front and a header coming off the back side. Where they meet and connect is called the y-pipe which connects to the cat further down.

Yeah i saw that y pipe. Can the stock on fit the msds or am i going to have to get a new y pipe?

They will bolt up to a stock y-pipe or an optimized y-pipe.

And the stock y-pipe is garbage if it isn't optimized. If you get it optimized it will net you ~6-10 hp with out any other mods done.
