Duluth Meet

Yea I'd only be able to stay for the day. My wife has a wedding shower to attend the next day so I have to get her back for that.

I'm still a maybe. I really don't want any pictures taken of my car seeing as how I've made little to no progress since Carcraft.

I'm up in the air now... my turbo kit will be at my house that Friday... and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to resist installing it as I want to dyno it at DB performance on the 19th.

Alright well my replacement wiring harnesses, 255lph fuel pump, turbo blanket, and 42# injectors won't be here in time for this coming weekend. So that said I'm more then likely will be able to make it up.

So I haven't seen much posting on this is anyone else even planning on going?

i might be able to make it. we'll see. i just picked up some short term work but it looks like a lot of hours in a short period of time, not sure if i'm working weekends yet.

I can't attend peeps. I'm going to the Wheels and Wings show in Osceola, WI that day. Totally spaced that one out. Hope it's a safe trip for those who do attend.

If I come I could bring my Rebel if it makes you feel better

Nah, bring a crappy one. My paint started flaking near the wheel wells on the rear drivers side after this past winter. Haven't had time to bring it in to my neighbors and get it fixed up either. I don't want it showing up in pics. Thank God, I am not driving it for the winter anymore. And after a couple weeks, I know I will be driving the Navigator cause Alena won't want to pay for gas in it anymore.

I don't know if I will have the SVT back together by Saturday, but I was considering taking the Cougar anyways.

We have all seen the tour anyways. Besides with that clutch in there, don't know if any long trips should be considered.

Speak of Spec, I was sort of thinking about something. Is there anyway that highway miles could be a problem on those clutches? Mine broke down after driving for 120 miles. Brapples went down after going to SZ. The guy who bought Ryans car went down after driving it a couple hundred miles. Can the clutches maybe not like prolonged highway driving?

Well the Cougar has been making some strange rattling for a while now, but I don't think it's anything that will explode as long as I don't go out and beat the crap out of it.

I'm not overly paranoid about the clutch, but I do plan on replacing it this winter after the insurance is off of it just because I hate it.

I don't know why highway driving would be hard on them, as that's when they do the least amount of work. They don't even rotate all that fast on the highway (not as fast as a pull to redline anyways )
