I need help!!! I took my 99 csvt in for a minor service and the tech sat down in the drivers seat and punctured the leather seat. They are discontinued from Ford. I really dont want some upholstery shop trying to match the one panel on the seat. Any Ideas?? It's the tan leather interior. I already posted this in the interior section. Thanks

Be careful with double posting -- some folks on here get really fired up about that.

Nonetheless, I'd start with the boneyard -- but you might be surprised what a good upholstery shop could do. You're fortunate to have the prairie tan, as it should be easier to match.

it is possible to have the seat repaired. Have a look at a bigger/upper end auto detailer or upholstery shop and see if they are willing to repair it.

Have it set up that the dealership pays directly. If you can avoid dealing with the accounts payable dept of most dealerships, do it. They will generally take 30 - 60 days to pay out an invoice or just in general drag it out as long as they can.

WHAT!?!?!? Make THE PLACE THAT WORKED ON IT FIX IT!!!!!! You shouldn't have to do anything... make them get you a new seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
