Door dings

I was leaving the bar the other night and my alarm had been set off I took a quick walk around the car looking for major damage. Didn't see any so I thought some one just bumped my car to set it off.
So today I looked over the car in the day light and found two dents in my passenger side rear door.
I am so angry I need to vent (meaning of this post) Worst part of this is a lady was leaving the bar at the same time and saw me looking. She asked me if I was throwing up, I said no I am looking for damage on my car as my alarm had been set off. I told her I think some on hit my car with there door. She got into her H2 as she said oh door dings are not important, or even worth getting upset over. I was still upset as many other contour owners would be, but I got in my car and left. Found the dents later the next day, I am really upset since I have sound proofing on the doors, which makes it much harder to repair dents.
Oh well this type of thing happened and I guess I have to deal.
Sorry for the long post I just needed to vent.

This is what ticks me off about people.
Damage to someone else's property is damage, end of story. The degree of damage doesn't matter. You mess up, you own up to it.

I just had some city workers smack the side of my car yesterday, but since no one witnessed it, they're saying it's my word against theirs.
Their supervisor questioned them all, and of course, no one owned up to it.
It's obvious one of them did it. I parked the car in the morning near the parking meter. I get to my car later in the day, parking meter is removed, gaping hole in the ground, and dents/scratches on my car.
hrm wonder who dunnit. :ponder:

with the amount of time i as well as you guys spend taking care of our tours and countless forarm craps from cleaning and waxing i would have probily slapped that women ;-) figurativley of course.... i guess people who by the vehicle that everybody wants cause they have the money dont know what car pride is

Too many tolerate damage

Too many tolerate damage

People tolerate too much. First they tolerate door dings then they will tolerate bumper damage. Oh it's just a bumper!

Yeah and an $ 800 bumper cover!

It's the broken window syndrome.
