No, he was saying that the ZRi doesn't have a stiff sidewall. It's pretty darn soft by sporty tire standards. I don't think you really drove with it flat for that long.
Exactly. I can tell right off the bat when they're 5psi low or even less. ...... Now maybe this has more to do with how attentive the driver is but that doesn't even matter ...... Zri's have a soft sidewall.
i have zri's on my 18's and they are holding up well. i will say they dont like potholes my spare had a blister/bubble on it. but tirerack sent me a new tire.
I have ZRI's and like them very much. But they are not mud and snow rated, and I don't know if the HRI's are either. No M+S rating = no drive in snowy. Hell mine won't even grip in sub-freezing temps without snow. He specifically mentioned snow in his post. Somebody chime in...are the HRI's M+S rated? I'm thinking they aren't for some reason.
