Do my brake pads have wear sensors?

Potential stupid question, sorry, but I have a 1998 csvt and I went to get new pads/rotors for the first time and he asked if they have sensors or not. Is there a way to tell without ripping off the wheel and getting dirty? I'm not sure if it's a 1998.5 but if that matters I can find out I guess (The title says 1998, not sure if 98.5's were officially 99's).

early model svts have a sensor, later models do not

Like how early? Didn't these things start production in 1998? (did you get those backwards?)

To the best of my knowledge no SVT ever had brake wear sensors. The Cougar does. The parts listings are not correct or the Mondeo has them, and again part info is not correct.

You can use brake pads with sensors if you want, just cut the wires off of them.
