Broken chain or regular? haha. Ive got an idea for what youre saying.

Edit:

Ran your artwork through Illustrator and came up with a very cool style. Here are a few color ideas (couple big pics):

Woa, that turned out really awesome. I can redo the sketch and put some real time into to make it look real good (ie not free handing the building profiles and putting more detail into the car) I'll start that working on the 2nd gen of that drawing Friday night or Sat afternoon. Look for an updated version on here on Monday. I'll leave the SZ LITE off of the license plate this time around since it's already in the logo up top. I'll just put CEG on the plate instead.

Sure if you wanna do that. I think the sketch looks great how it is, too.

Well I know I can do better then my 15min sketch. However I may not put so much detail into the buildings as I think the detail will make it difficult to transfer to the shirt. Maybe I'll keep just the overall profile of the buildings, but remove the windows and such. Also make the weight of the lines a little larger.

If the artwork is printed large enough on the back I'm sure the details will come through okay. We can fine tune it with a new sketch if that's the one chosen for the shirts. I personally like the broken lines, gives it an aged look in a way.

Sorry for the delay guys.. had to work through some tax issue that came up the last couple of days. I think I am finally squared away... I was getting crap for trying to deduct all that money I've been giving to the stage dancing girls charity... in any case I promise to have something up by tomorrow night ;)

Alright as promised... I ended up drawing this scene about 14 times and ultimately decided to take my original sketch and tweak it to remove a lot of the detail to make it more "print" friendly as I mentioned earlier. I also added the blimp to give people a better idea of what city we're talking about here ;) Thoughts?? Oh and I could care less if my sig is on the drawing, it's just habit. I'll let pre98 do his magic on it and add that fancy logo in the corner... plus maybe we should add "2012" and "Akron, OH" somewhere too.

IMO it should stay there, it gives it style. If we wanna get technical, it's your artwork so it should stay there regardless.

I messed around with the new sketches you sent me. They clean up real nice but now it almost seems like it's not enough "weight", I'm not sure how well it would turn out? I'm going to add more to it tomorrow with the location, blimp and year, but here's a rough idea with the new sketch:

Well I went over the final with ink going around the borders. I could go into the buildings more so it will stand out if that is what we want to do. That shouldn't take much time.

Naw it's okay. I think what I'll do is mix the details from the first sketch with the crisp lines of the second one. No problem. Edit: nvm got your email haha.

Haha.. yea figured I would go ahead and do it. Not to much work. The far right building gave me some crap so I had to "digitally enhance" the windows lol.

So what are the official colors people want for the shirt and ink? So I can post up the final two versions for review?

The first one uses the artwork that has a bit more grit to it and the second has cleaner lines:
