Daytona Coupe progress

Its been like watching a real version of West Coast Customs, I wish I lived nearby so I could've done something to help out.
Haha I live twenty minutes away and haven't done anything to help. Josh has to do everything himself, he wouldn't trust anybody to touch that thing but himself. Hang out and drink beers and shoot guns, but no touchy lol.

Wetsanding is done as are the first rounds of compounding and polsihing. Puttin the dark colored glaze to it here in a few then its time for wax.

Shes home...finally. Already started final assembly.

Glad to see the ride is back home, but where's the red carpet for it:shrug: Or the blanket:shrug: Or does it have enough coats on it already:shrug:

Simply incredible!

As I wait for the next pic I'm really glad you painted those wheels white and not left them black, it wouldn't look the same, the white really does the trick on that car for sure Josh....NOW WHERE'S THIS PIC YOU PROMISED ME/US?

Superformance makes blue with white stripes covers but they are expensive and I think they say Superformance on them. Got this one as part of my free options package when I bought the car. Its fleece lined and very soft.

This is CSX 2299 one of the 6 original Daytona Coupes. Mine was built to replicate this one. All of them at some point had a white/blue rear end. I also have a set of the windhsield slats like the ones pictured.

I like your shade of blue compared to the original Josh, its just more deep. Now about those DG stickers, not digging the location of them, just my .02 cents. I spied a Cheetah in the background in the one pic you put up, damn are those things small....and Corvette powered IIRC. When do you think the car will be completely done?

Thats where Gurney ran em in 64 at the Rheims race. Hope to get the windshield installed next week then its all down hill from there, besides dyno tune.
