?Dark Satin Green Contours?

How rare is Dark Satin Green paint (code FU) on a Contour? I don't think I've ever seen another and cannot find any pictures on here of one.

My daughter has a dark satin green metalic SE and so does I8RICE.
I don't see them around very often at all.
The best part about the paint code is when someone asks, "what is your paint code?" You tell them FU and they look at you with the WTH look and then you tell them that is the paint code. They laugh then.

It's lots of fun.
I ordered paint for Steph's sides skirts and the guy says, "what's your paint code", "FU" and he says "whaaat"? "FU, that's the paint code" and he just started laughing. That's the best paint code.
Apparently someone at Ford had a sense of humor. ;)
 
It is a nice color, although people do mistake it for black or dark blue sometimes (depending on the lighting). ;)
 
My car was advertised as "Pacific Green" when I bought it. That's what I thought it was until I found the FU paint code.

I like the Dark Satin Green, maybe as much as the T-Red of my old '96.

I'll try. Right now I have on my 14" alloy winter rims so it doesn't look too hot. In a couple of months, I'll put on my summer 17" ST200 rims and a 1st generation trunk lid and it'll look pretty sharp.

Your daughter's car looks great with those rims.

I used to have those wheels on my SVT but when Steph got her SE (she used to have a plain 4 banger) I gave the wheels to her. Actually, I bought them for her, got my SVT and stole them from her. :laugh: It was only fair that I gave them back. :D ;)

Well, I don't think he mt. bikes a whole lot. We kinda bust on him for the bike rack that he rarely uses. ;) Sorry Jason, ya know it's true.
