Want to Buy CSVT Shell

I am looking for a Contour shell. Doesn't have to have engine or transmission. My car burnt down so it needs to have all of the underhood parts intact. There is one here locally, but they want a thousand for it. It has motor and tranny, an supposely just needs a new harness. But I was looking for something on the cheaper side.
I live in Laredo, TX. Please :help:me get back on the road.
The body can be in any condition.

I was looking for something under a grand. But it depends on the condition of the car, off course.
 
There is a E1 in Dallas / N Richmond Hills on Craigslist...Tred/tan. Been posted there for a while, no asking price. Assuming the front wheels could be put back on and towed on a $40/day u-haul dolly?? Maybe you can convince him to meet in Waco or Austin.

Looks really clean, but wouldn't like to dismantle it to install the 3L. And I cant afford it! :crazy:
 
Only problem with that ad is that the engine bay is of a t-red SVT.... wonder what it really looks like?
 
It's a shame that they are stuffing the engine parts into that t-red on top of the prairie tan interior :nonono:.
 
Just curious if anyone heard anything back from this guy? I am not interested in the car enough to bug him. Every time I sell on CL I get 12 junk messages for each legit.
 
Car is partially disassembled on jackstands, so you know its not his DD. Ad has been up since 4/18, but I think its been posted before. How long does it take to loose interest, weeks, months? (sometimes hours, LOL) If I had to guess, I'd say younger guy (amp, sub & wiring available, stickers on door sill) who lives with parents (old project truck in drive). Garages probably full of stuff, mom & dad •••••in'... Based on pics, missing driver skirt, looks like no rear mesh, rear bumper kink @ passenger corner. I'd ask for mileage, VIN, 99 or 00, repair/damage/owner history, etc, and a bunch of better resolution pics before making an offer. You should too, considering your distance.

Based on what I see .... $500 should start a conversation.
