Is it all right to cross post an item you have for sale in the regional section or is that frowned apon then you are promptly kicked in the junk for it?

You can post a classified ad, as well as a REGIONAL thread, in the already provided sales thread (if available). There are some differences in classifieds and regional threads, however, so be sure to tailor the post based on those rules, and don't just copy and paste.

I would check with the regional mods to see if they will allow you to do that.

I would say that to be totally safe, just post it in the classifieds section since you're only supposed to post for sale ads there and cross posting is frowned upon.
