crooked ohio cops

well i had to work memorial day so im running my run through ohio, cruise set at 60 nobody on the road and a cop comming the opposite way flashes the lites at me to pull over, so I pull over and she tells me she radared me doing 65 in a 55. Told her she was wrong so she takes my license and comes back with a 10 over ticket for doing 65 ina 55. Now i gota take a day off work and go to court. Heres the kicker besides the point i was only doing 60, my truck is a company truck goverened at 62mph with computer tracking( it knows rpm speed coasting position) so how did she radar me doing 65? She saw a sleeper truck thought i was over the road and there would be no way for me to get back to ohio to fight the ticket. Jokes on her
 
there are a lot of good cops and a lot of bad cops, there are many similar stories out here in oregon, the county sheriff's are really bad out here, state cops are pretty good though. :shrug:
 
i had a run in with the ohio police. I was going to pick up my new tranny from a local ohio cger my buddy driving was going about 70 in a 55, we come up over a hill a cop is going the oppsite way. turns around about a mile after we pass it. my radar did go off and when it did we were going 70 im positive. so he pulls us over , they take our social security numbers, and says we were going 76, then he comes back to the car and said he actually clocked us at 82. wtf.
 
Try dealing with Plymouth or Livonia.. Not so much in the 'crooked' term but, un-necessary and strict even when you have done nothing wrong.. Growing up in Northville is pretty wild, you get used to run in's with the police

I stopped one night in 2001 at that ford dealer at 7 mile and northville road. It was around 10:30pm.I was looking at a silver CSVT at the time.
Well not even 10 mins go by. I see 3 squad cars flying into the parking lot with sirens. I was like wtf is going on.
Next thing you know there out of the cars running up to me. Telling me to get against the car. They got a call for a B&E they tell me:rolleyes: .

Cops-Your braking in aren't you?
me- NOoo
Cops- Yeah look at you, your one of those punks kids
me- define punk?
Cops- Harry (as their are searching my wallet)
Me- That is my name how does that make me a punk?
Cops- Throw me in the car into the car saying "stay put we are going to search the area"
Me- Okay pal have at it i told them.

They decide to go over and search my truck??? I was like wtf banging on the window:mad: . They just turned to me with there flash lights on my face.
So they search my truck and pull me out.Scream at me for a few mins. So i tell them i was looking at a CSVT.

Cops- CSVTs are for punk kids who thinks they have a kool ride.:help:
Mind you i was driving my 1996 splash black lowered with a 302 and cobra r wheels.:cool:

Well i got a tint ticket and a warning to not come threw northville again.

I myself have never had a problem in Livonia, i trained half of them in martial arts. So i never worry about my home town:cool:

As nice as i am, i always seem to get didlo cops trying to act tough. I only wish the situation was on a level playing field. I would love to go 1vs1 with those pigs.

Also there are only a few good cops like 30% the other 70% are dics.

They enjoy playing the accusing card in Northville, it's just about the only thing they can do to younger people. Novi is also known for this type of act.. Had three cars on me one night and 'threats' to call in the K-9 unit for suspected drugs... I told them they can search all they want and stop asking me if I have anything because my answer won't change

yea plymouth and livonia have both have given me un- necessary tickets, and they hide in the darndest places.....
 
i had a run in 3 weeks ago with a michigan state trooper(female). i was coming back form mount pleseant casino with my buddy. my radar goes off but we werent really speeding , come up over a hill she sitting right there. follows us for 3 miles, pulls us over.walks up to the window and the first thing she says is " the car smells like dope" My friend who drives the car is on probation, and i dont smoke. so my friend says he dosent smoke and that it dosent smell like it. she makes him take his glasses off. keeps asking us. then trys the "if you have anything just tell me" at this point i blow up and yell at her that we dont have anything and that this is bs, to just search the darn car and get it over with because im not here to waste my time. she didnt like that. tells my friend to get out. searches him, asking him why i have such a bad attitude and if i had any prior charges. so she searches the car finds nothing and then tries to pull some crap that she found some seeds and stems in the car and he need to clean that up. well i asked he to show what she found and she wouldnt. then i started breaking out laughing and told her this is a joke . she wrote us a warning for a cracked tail lens. Stupid cops abusing their power. she was 100% sure we were smoking dope, but just like rawburt was wrong.
 
Same situation happened with my brother coming home from Kalamazoo.. State Trooper had the same act, said that he found some seeds and buds on the floor but it was grass... literally, like grass from the bottom of a shoe haha. My brother laughed and told him to search the whole car. He then proceeded to let him go
 
Livonia cops are super tough on speeders etc. that's why I NEVER go above 70 on 275 - EVER - they are always out there with someone pulled over - i swear they make a killing off speeders on 275.

All the same, I love the fact that they are always "around" - they cruise my sub all the time - cos I live way to close to Wasteland and the conglomeration of douchebags that reside there makes me nervous..

I agree, your right down the road from potential trouble haha- My sub connects to our Northville Township PD, so if there is ever trouble, which is few and far between, they are right there-- When the old Psych. hospital was still working we used to have escapee's running around our sub, or some form of walking, whatever they could do haha
 
Most cops I've dealt with in Ohio are really cool.

Just don't do anything stupid on holiday weekends, and stay away from highway cops. Otherwise they won't mess with you.. cops pass me on the turnpike when I'm going 80mph :crazy: Hello michigan :laugh:
