couple of new changes...

1.Wow you answered your own question (dumb to me) (case of the D DD's) so what you are saying is that I should have the wider tires in the front???

2. If you read and looked you would have notice that I have the stock 16"'s on with the P16/55/205's all around but again another D DD moment!

3.You must have missed the life class on sarcasm, but stick around I'll be happy to give you a few pointers.

4.I can go on, but others may want to join in. So next time you want to have a battle of wits make sure you pack a lunch.

it reminds me of the pic someone posted on here months ago of that celica with the HUUUUUGE racing slicks on the rear and left the front alone :help:

Recoveryone, do you understand why ben called you stupid? when you do a siq burnout, which wheels spin? THE FRONTS

Recoveryone, at no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

This thread makes baby Jesus cry.

LLLLAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLL

The piston ....... hhahaha nice... actually that's one thing that I like about the car, besides it being white...

you shouldn't have painted anything red but whatever floats your boat...honestly..

Oh my fellow CEG's, let me take this time to address your heart felt concerns:

1. The choice of having 225/40/17's in the rear of my, let me say that again MY CSVT is matter of preference not about burn outs. to me it gives (MY) CSVT the look I desire:

And my point was at the fact that the picture that I posted was with (MY) stock SVT 205/55/16's showing the new brake paint job I do last night and added the SVT logo this morning:

So I can appreciate your efforts to come to the defense of one of the Vet's of this board, but if you would have throughly look at what was being presented you would have seen the flaw in his comment as I did. Now as you have read I have not made any intellectual insults back at him. Or refer to him as a person lacking good sense. If he would have asked about why I used such a setup the whole thread could have went another way instead of this personal attack mode he choose to use.

I was not looking for a fight, but I do not shy away from one either. I have PM him after finding a thread with similar matters in which he did not find (stupid) (his words) so if its the norm for members to waffle about their opinions base upon if the poster is a new member or not. Maybe I'm old school when your Ya's are Ya and your Na's or Na. Your word is what makes up your true character and shows others that you can or cannot be trusted.

now that i see your calipers, did you paint the brake pads???

lol, yeah I think the calipers come off BEFORE paint......but what do I know

and if you dont need a front plate, why put one on? I took mine off, and personally its worth the $80 ticket for not having it (paid it once, and Ill pay it again!)

the paper I had covering the pads fell over during the paint, so they got a good dose. I plan on getting some drilled rotors soon and this one less thing I'll have to do. Thank you for the constructive criticism.

And I'll don't think I'll be getting any tickets for the plate, Its called professional courtesy.

i dont get why you wouldnt take the pads out  they pop right out when the caliper is off the car. you did take the calipers off to paint them right? but painting the pads will now make them a pita to get off when you change them.

That was the first one, trying to cut corners.:blackeye: Live and learn. Lining up the SVT logo was a real pain on the front, since the caliper's roll off and not flat.

Ditto , and its my car  I pulled up another old pic and I can see it with another plate too.

And those are the factory holes, Good look out Pen! I'll have to correct that when I get it painted this fall.
