We priced a few locations and it looks like Nov or Dec will yield the best results for this year and early-mid May for 2009
locations we were thinking -- Cancun, Mexico - Montego Bay, Jamaica or Punta Cana, Dominican Repubulic
or... perhaps a cruise but we've never done that before..
We are cool as cucumbers with multiple couples going... it would only be more fun in my opinion!

our goal is around 2,000.00 with flight and hotel total... 
I priced several weeks and it can be done.
cheapest appears to be in October - with slightly higher rates all the way until Christmas. Week of Christmas and New Years prices triple and remain much higher than our goal price for all of 2009 right now.
who can go when? We are shooting for 5 nights in regards to our vacation.

Uh, oh - I don't think we are going on a honeymoon or vacation now. Arielle really wants to spend the vacation $ on a LCD tv, new sectional couch, and a shed...... I agree with her :blackeye: - I AM SORRY

But make sure you at least do some weekend getaways somewhere local and cheap til you can save up for a big trip.

We try to alternate between a big vacation one year and big house expenses the next year. I tell ya, by that 2nd year, I am crawling up the walls and in dire need of some beach time.
