Keep in mind that my 26 year old Honda economy bike has 6.4 lb/hp, and an entry-level sportbike like the R6 has only 2.6 lb/hp.

Cool. Thanks for the comparison. Still not a cruiser though (Sport Touring). I'm happy with what I settled for.
