I recently bought a 98 SVT and the clock light was not working. I searched the forums and found out how to remedy the situation. The problem is, when I pulled out the clock there was no bulb in it. Just a hole where the bulb is supposed to go. What is supposed to go in the hole? I think there is supposed to be some kind of bulb holder that you remove with a screwdriver. Where can I get something like that?

Thanks,
Derek

I went to a junk yard and pulled another bulb from a contour clock and that one was burnt out. but there is a guy on here that posted up about a led bulb

like I had posted in the one clock LED post, if you have soldering skills you can tin the brass contacts on the board for the light and solder directly to the board. just be sure you have the right resistor and polarity unless you like soldering over and over...

I went to a local parts store Orilleys and they a had the clock light replacement for the 98 the brand was EIKO and the number on the package was 2721mf came in a pack of 2 was like $4.50 and went right in and i guess the clock lights up amber even though the bulb is clear lol looks cool it stays on with the ignition turned on i guess thats why most burn out hope this helps

The light is supposed to have a green condom on it. They are available through Parts Express in a 10 pack.
