CF interior

Pud, you have to think about what most people would be wrapping in the CF. Those dash trim pieces combined weigh what, 3lbs? If somebody were to make full CF replacement trim pieces, I doubt anyone one buy them for the weight savings. For a few interior pieces, it's going to be purely aesthetic.

its like asking why someone would paint their interior pieces. purely aesthetic. we all have different tastes in cars on here. you either love it or hate it. i love the look of CF, i guess you feel different about it. CF isnt always made strictly for function

I wonder if a guy could wrap exterior parts like mirrors or even whole panels as long as it was clear coated to protect it from tearing, UV fade, etc...

might be a cheap way to obtain that pre98 CF trunk look...

I thought topshop already offered those services, didn'tthey?

meh, I was going to post my CF rant but its not worth the energy..... I do see it as a nice alternative for spicing up a few bits or accent pieces. I'd wager to say it won't hold up well over time (or be easily cleanable) without the epoxy resin and protective coating.... not to mention strong fading.

Its like crack, really cool, really fun when used responsibly. but that responsibility only lasts one night before you go ape ???? crazy with the stuff and become a rolling disaster of FAIL.

a pre 98 center console would look great if the black part was wrapped with this.... i think ill try it soon!

Yea for like $200 for the mirrors IIRC... screw that.

I whole hardily agree. However I was just planning on doing the sail panels and mirror bases. Potentially the inside of the headlights and taillights (yea more on that later) and the skid plate. All just lite accents nothing more.
