BUT i do have to say.... I was getting low on gas and after spending almost and hr driving thew the mtns we finaly came to a gas station that looked closed, BUT it was being run by the store. SO when we stopped and pulled up they only ran 87oct!! we looked at it for a min and then moved on..lol, we made it to Enumclaw though So its all good. but thats when we lost a guy. We pulled in and he was behind us in the turn lane but after we turned he wasnt behind us... must have relized where he was and just headed home from there.

All in all it was a great Drive.

I didn't realize you were just stopping for gas, thought you were heading south from enumclaw towards Tacoma or something so I headed towards auburn and got stuck behind a Porsche :drool:.

I was expecting the twistys to be a bit more challenging, but it just gives me an excuse to go practice more before the next meet. maybe we should get a track day together next so we don't have to worry about traffic.

I really enjoyed this meet a lot. I'm glad that we were able to get a good group together & I look forward to getting together agian. Who knows, maybe next time we'll get a few more guys like DDV, or PDXSVT to join us:shrug:

So ya good thing you guys found out about those secondaries lol... But i mean i even showed up, i have a messed up front bumper and no side skirts lol... that was embarrassing lol... but at least she runs :laugh:... so next meeting? lol how about next weekend ? hahaha

P.S. Ahhhhh.... Best thing about he meet... Strawberry Shake:drool::drool::drool: lol
 
I agree Buddy! I'm sooooo glad you ordered before me & not after me. The thought never even crossed my mind until you ordered it. The crazy thing is, I love strawbery shakes:drool: & usually order them all of the time (even with breakfast):cool::o
 
Man, what a bunch of good-looking Contours! I wish I had made the meet. I probably wouldn't have gone on the drive though. Recently switched over to the winter treads, which aren't as sticky as the Goodyears.

Sounds like it was a great meet and drive! Thanks for posting the pictures too.
 
So at all the meets i think i should order first then guys:shrug::laugh::laugh: lol!... Really like the pics guys, and good meet again... Next time we have to get more guys together and go on a drive that we all can do:o
 
Nice camera work Marty! I didn't know you were with me all the way to 99w:shrug: I would have gave you the tripple brake light goodbye:cry: I had to turn into that shell to get gas,my light was on! I don't understand? Woogieman was on a quarter tank when i was at a half:nonono: And he made it almost as close as i did,mabey all the way home? I'm thinking that P0420 code is hurting my mileage.I had a full tank when i left my house sat morning........Chit on the way home we were going 10 under on I5,lol

Thanks! No worries about no brake light goodbye. :) I was meeting some friends in Tigard, otherwise I wouldn't have gone that way. You got ahead of me a bit on the freeway, then I caught up again and managed to make it through all the lights, even though I was a couple of blocks behind you for most of 99W.

Yep! I made it all of the way to 170th & TV Hwy, got gas, & then went home. By the way Humbold, did you know the person in the Corolla that split us in Washington & rode your butt until I finally got tired of it & intervened? That was pretty weird:shrug:
 
I didn't really notice him or i would have opened up my secondaries!I remember you pulled into the left lane,i thought you were going to pass me then you cut in behind me.If i had known i would have gave you more room.
 
Ok no more excuses!.....rembember the randell run. I want to do it again,what will it take to make it happen agian? Sooner the better. I got the alt and redtop optima done, along with redline trans fluid. Before the run I will slap on my powerslots and hawk pads. Please I beg of you, and miss you(kinda)

I might be interested. As long as you don't make fun of my bold tires. I have not come up with money for new ones since the steering rack change. That took most of the tread off all four tires in a couple weeks before I got the alignment.:blackeye:
