Carbon fiber hood on mystique?

I do not believe so sinc ethe hood along the headlights and grill have a different shape. one would need to compare close up to determine.

You could always be the do'er here and give it a try. Maybe find someone near by with a carbon fober hood and try it on your car or order one up and have someone lined up to buy it from you if it doesn't fit.
 
I have wondered the same thing myself.... being the fact that people can't swap out the front bumper for an SVT I would have to say you'd have to do a whole front end swap, bumper cover, grille, headlights, and hood... possibly fenders too if you wanted a CF hood....
 
I may just do that. Actually a garage by my brother's house has a fried tour and I'm gonna see if he'll let me try the hood on my mystique. I'll see what I have to do to get it to fit.

actually that is incorrect, there was one mystique owner that installed a SVT bumper without modification. it appears that the bunper is different but what it is is that the grill on the contour is flat where on the mystique it comes out to the end of the bumper, the bottom of the headlights and grill are the same ... also you shouldn't need the fenders as again the end of the headlights are the same shape, the difference is at the grill ...
 
Well looks like no carbon fiber for my mystique:cry:. I guess I'm just gonna get it repainted unless I come across someone who is willing to do some custom cf.
 
Just paint it flat black. People will think its CF from a distance.

I wish they made a CF Mystique hood. :( I guess too many old ladies didn't want to fork out that kind of change.....
 
eh,I'm not sure about a two tone mystique(other than having a cf hood) lol, I'll do some playin around in photoshop and see what it looks like. Maybe if I feel like it I'll post it up. Kidding or not kidding, a black hood might look decent..


And about grannies... come on, I drive a mystique and I ain't no granny!:laugh:
And even so, I don't know any granny that drives a 5 speed mystique!
