Just wondering, I know lots of CEG'ers love the way the CF cowl hood looks on the tour. So i thought "man i gotta talk to Poncho" So i did :cool: managed to get him down to $395 shipped for the hood. I know, I know (pithon your the man) well this would only be if i can get enough interest tho. So Now since holidays aré coming up and everyone is gonna be low on $$$ for a while, I thought id start early on this so we could get them at this low price. Keep in mind most CF hoods retail about $500. So now My dilema is when would be the best time for this to happen? Thats where your votes come in. Also FYI he Told me if we got this going we could get the trunk for $250 more no shipping
 
He's also thinking about doing a CF wiper cowl for the tour. Let me
know your input on this thread guys. Good price? still to high? Etc...

I tried to get you a few different angles so you can see the fitment. I have seen some really good hoods/trunks from him and I have seen some poor quality ones. I have seen a few where the CF pattern on the hood is different from the trunk. My trunk is one of the prototypes from the orginal group buy, and my hood was picked up on ebay from him with some slight blemishes (a couple bubbles under the resin).

I think without the center "vent" it would look even better. mine just collects water when it rains or i wash the car. :laugh:

Although that said I do have two pre98 trunk lids sitting along the side of my fence that I've been meaning to make a mold from to create my own CF trunk... but ugh its so much work and money to do that stuff yourself.
 
Not sure he told me he was "thinking" of doing a wiper cowl for the tour. I told him it depended on price and quality. Sorry for any misunderstandings guys, you can only get the trunk for $250 if you purchase the hood.
 
so.... 645 shipped for both the trunk and hood, or is there added shipping?

Hell of a deal, considering you would normally pay almost that much just for one of those 2 items. I may have to buy one in case I buy a contour. If nothing else, I could probably resell it later for a profit at that price.
