Car is Toast for now, coolant issue

no its not overheating, the hand is just reading wrong, because of the replacement temp sender i put in yesterday. Now as for heat, I also read on here that my blend door may not be working, and I went out and listened for it and nothing happened, he said check fuses, welll I dont have an ownermanual so im currently searching for a fuse diagram on here. And my car never ovverheated so Im sure the water pump is fine

the only fuse I see is heater blow motor, it works I hear it loud and clear when the AC is on. SO I dot have any othe clue except for the fact that the blend door is not working, how do you fix that? When sitting in the car with it switched to on, I turn the knob from cold to hott and I dont hear a sound.

I took off the pepboys borg&warnor sender and slapped on a motorcraft one from Gwinnett place ford and now my gauge reads correctly! Fans kick on at M and all, the only prob is at normal temp the hand sits dead in the middle where it used to sit on the N, may have to do with the change of coolant it was water heavy now its coolant heavy, :Im goona grt the whole thing flused and change, maybe that light will go off and stay off then

Glad to hear the new Motorcraft sender brought the gauge into "Normal" operation:cool:. Acts like my Mystique now. Try Posting a new topic about the heater blend door. I have not yet dealt with that. When the engine is cold, the coolant tank level should be at max to turn off the radiator/fan light. Just add water to it if you have too much antifreeze in solution. Usually the correct cold level is min, but not on the Contour! How do you like your TL Type S?

Yeah man its a half inch above max like everyone says to do, but the darn light still wont go off! I love the tls its fast and handles well, I cant compare it to the csvt just yet, because Cont still needs struts, but the SVT feels more nimble and has more grip, so I guess it handles better. Night and day on interior and fit and finish as you can imagine. Honda quality> Ford quality, Its roomy and comfortable, but compared across the board with models in its class in 2003 it lacks some things whic makes it feel like...what it its a souped up accord, heck even the 03 accords have features this car is missing. Did you wanna know andthig specifically about the Ac

The magnetic float in the coolant tank must be stuck, when you change the coolant the float should unstick. Above max with engine cold should be plenty! Is your TL-S an automatic?
