Can a broken thermostat cause car not to shift?

Yeah, That was the first thing i checked.

The code im dealing with is P1747: electronic pressure solenoid short circuit.. No O/D light flash.

So if anyone has any suggestions on where to look that relates to that code, let me know.

Ill check the grounds tomorrow on the frame to see if i see anything out of the ordinary. Im running out of things to check. lol.
 
Well guys, I think i may have found the problem. Since discovering that the wire pin 3/6/9 lead to is a green wire with a blue stripe, I've been following that damn wire all over the engine bay, Ive taken apart the entire harness looking for anything wrong. I followed that wire into the interior and it lead to this:

You should've been having HVAC blower trouble with that lead melted.

It probably does, I bought the car with this problem so i havent driven it but 2-3 miles before the thing just stopped shifting.
