Well been looking into air breather for the crankcase. Wondering is it worth the buy? Or just leave the hose? Finding ways to make engine breath a lil better

personally i would just plug up that stupid little hole in the airbox...or even better replace it with a CAI or air ram

The crankcase ventilation system is supposed to be a sealed system. Breathers eff it all up. If all you want is looks - do something else.

^^^ it depends on the PCV system. The contour zetec, is an open system from the begging. So it wont hurt anything.

The intake doesn't exhale. The crankcase vents do. They will blast a fine oily mist out of those little cones from time to time.

The breather on the valve cover has no valve or anything what so ever. it should never blast anything out. The PCV valve may shoot some pressure from time to time, when it opens but that is mostly from the intake manifold vacuum pulling it. There also should be no, to very little oil in it. as the system has an inline oil separator.
