brake lights don't work; third brake light does

So my third brake light works but the brake lights don't. The tail lights work. Happened before and the mutlifunction switch (turn signal switch) was replaced and I thought that fixed it. Happening again though. When I wiggle the two connectors on the multifunction switch the brake lights occasionally come on.

I'm using the shop manual to diagnose. I have to check the resistance between connector C103, shorting bar connector #4, and the tail light. The wiring diagram shows C103 in the left side of the trunk near the tail light, but I'm not seeing it. No connector is on the wiring harness going to the left tail light. Any know where C103 shorting bar connector #4 is?

when the switch is plugged into the 2 connectors and I wiggle the wires the brake lights will work. So it must be a connection problem, thanks!

How should I go along fixing it? Pull out each wire on the connector, clean it, and stick it back in the connector? What do you think?

I agree with BrApple, in class most of these issues were caused by one or two wires being loose.

So the wires do seem loose. I tried pulling them out of the connector but I can't get them all the way out. I pulled out the red plastic piece, then stuck a small screwdriver in it to push down the clip, but no luck.

Any ideas how get the wires to not move so much?

So with no luck getting the wires out of the connector I just cut it off. Went to the Pick N Pull and cut off the connector & wires, then spliced it in. Works fine now.

With it off the car I was able to pull the wires from the connector. The orange/black wire was burnt.
