Go look on tirerack at the tire tests for extreme performance summer tires, and pick any one of them from there. Also, another contender that won't be on there are the Nitto NT-05's. Fairly cheap, and have very good reviews. I would suggest either the NT05's or the Dunlop Direzza Star Spec's.

i want something i can drive in the rain with, im not building a track only car. and they are NOT cheap! and i cant find the dunlops you speak of.

mods you can lock this up, thx.

a tire thats loud and that the only problem is not a reason to dismiss it from choice.

Why lock the thread? People are sharing good information and opinion. I also wouldn't want a track only tire. Just a higher performance summer tire that I can race with on the weekends.
 
why lock, cause i got what i needed, therefore the thread is no longer needed. its called keeping space on the sever
